Litter Lottery Roles ( Read Friday/Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 2nd/5th/6th/7th Dec)
by Joseph Durkan (Teacher) - Friday, 2 December 2016, 8:02 AM

I am looking for approx. 10 students (from any year group) to help run Calthorpe Park's Litter Lottery from January onwards. You can work in pairs, but you would have to be willing to give up one lunch time a week (You can choose the day and you can eat your lunch on the job). The role will involve signing in and out litter pickers and recording students names for the monthly prize draw. There will be treats for a job well done including housepoints, achievement points and edible goodies. If you are interested, speak to Mr. Durkan in G2 before the 9th of Dec.

Due to a high demand for places on this years trip, I've been trying to see if we could increase the number of pupils who can go.

I have (provisionally) booked an extra coach, meaning that every pupil (who as paid their deposit) will be offered a place on the trip!

I may even had space for a couple more pupils, but am waiting to hear back from the PGL centre to confirm as numbers are restricted. Watch this space!

    Year 11 Maths revision
    by Mrs H Hutton - Monday, 28 November 2016, 1:03 PM

We are continuing to run maths revision sessions for year 11 on Wednesdays in B5 15:00-16:00. With the Mocks just past and bespoke revision lists being created for all year 11 students, there has never been a better time to drop in and work on any aspect of maths that has been highlighted as an area for improvement. Biscuits are provided and a fantastic working environment has already been established, it would be great to see as many students as possible take advantage of these sessions.
