At Calthorpe Park School, students learn by behaving like scientists.
We believe that scientists are relentlessly curious about the universe in which we live. Scientists strive to gather appropriate primary and secondary evidence to answer questions inspired by their surroundings. To answer these questions they critically consider their own evidence and that of others, they communicate and collaborate, they synthesise a range of established and new ideas and evidence to draw a conclusion. Scientists relish challenge and uncertainty, take risks, show resilience and always question.
We will facilitate and foster this curiosity in students at Calthorpe Park School through our planning and our approaches to learning.
